I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of Somerset Lodge. The decoration was charming and reminded me of my grandmother's home, with beautiful antique furniture and cozy armchairs. The general areas, like the garden and terrace, were perfect for relaxation and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. There were no stairs to climb and everything was conveniently located on one level, making it easy for me to navigate.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is a grab bar in the bathroom. It would provide extra support and stability, especially for those who may have mobility issues.

Everything there was perfect, especially the QUIET ambiance. The rooms were comfy, we admired views of street. It had garden view as described, admired it from the terrace. We appreciated overall experience and did not want to leave there.

The room at Somerset Lodge was absolutely charming and cozy. With a comfy bedroom and a well-equipped kitchen, it felt like a home away from home. The flat-screen TV was a great bonus for relaxing evenings. I loved how everything was beautifully decorated and had a lovely atmosphere. As a young holiday goer, this place had all the comforts I was looking for.
The only downside for me was not having a bathtub. But hey, that's just personal preference, and I'm sure others would still enjoy the luxurious shower.
